CDSDS hires additional Archivist

CDSDS and the College of Information Science have hired a new archivist, Mariel Watt, to work with the Western Archeological and Conservation Center to digitize and organize National Park Service Records. Mariel Watt is an enthusiastic archivist, curator and American history PhD candidate, specializing in public history, disability studies and animal history. Her background in archaeology, archives and history makes WACC a natural fit. After WACC Mariel intends to pursue a leadership role in an academic or public history institution.
