Arizona's iSchool and the Center for Digital Society and Data Studies are excited to host a lecture and conversation with Courtney McKenna from Cunning in New York City (also an Arizona Wildcat). With on-the-ground experiences to share with our on-campus community and industry partners, Courtney will discuss contemporary approaches to (and recent project examples) relative to creative making, interactive branding, experiential marketing strategies, digital art across professions, as well as related issues that lie in the intersection of technology, design, and human consciousness. She will offer recent creative and 'maker' strategies like heartbeat reactivity, kinetic and solar-powered lighting, and perception altering Ganzfeld goggles. She will also talk about her involvement in planning interactive tech-art installations around New York City!
