Emma Llansó is the Director of the Free Expression Project at the Center for Democracy and Technology in Washington, DC. In that role, she works to advocate for citizens' rights to free speech and online expression, and she continually monitors policies and laws around the globe. For this event, Emma will share with faculty and graduate students her recent work with the Free Expression Project, will discuss some of the grand threats to online freedoms, and will be available for addressing questions from those in attendance. Conversation will be moderated by David Sidi, doctoral student in Information, University of Arizona.
